Bogong Ridge, Main Range of the Australian Alps:
Access is from Dead Horse Gap .
The snow conditions were excellent. Powder cover over consolidated base.
Lighting conditions were variable due to the storm raging above tree line.
From time to time it was lovely .
But then it would close in.
After battling for a few hours I went home.
