A Day among the Ice Trees on Sawyers Hill:

Sometimes hiking in blizzards is the best time. The sun is trying to shine through the ice fog.
With a camera that isn't weather proof (Canon S45) moments for shots can be rare.
But the views of ice on the snow gums can be spectacular!

Because of the January fires these trees have no leaves.

The following weekend on the same ridge there were some more Christmas images.

And more Christmas!
